Fiona Knight is an award-winning presenter who has been working to lift leadership and management skills in New Zealand businesses since 2000. She is also passionate about helping people to work ‘smarter, not harder’ to achieve a better work-life balance and sees working with the Brain and Memory Foundation to improve and extend memory functions as a natural progression to assist people who have achieved that balance to remain productive and independent.

Fiona has performance qualifications for the piano and clarinet, a degree in music and maths, and post-graduate qualifications in guidance and training. She was a member of the National Youth Orchestra and a private music teacher, as well as joining the public service and holding senior management roles in different departments for many years. She holds a Master of Public Policy and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.

“My philosophy has always been to make my courses hands-on and fun, as people learn so much more when they are enjoying themselves and undertaking practical activities”, says Fiona. “The Brain fit for life courses fit this model. It is so rewarding to see people regain confidence in their memory and regain their quality of life”.
